Never heard one of a weber amp, can't really give an impression here though, sound quality could be better.

Very nice ASATs though, the blonde deluxe is freaking sweeet.

Gog God, knotty! Every time I see that blonde Deluxe I fall further in love. She's a real beauty.

That amp looks great too, lovely match. I use a 5E3 clone, great fun amp - how do the two compare?

Well shucks...
Sanx. It wasnt intentional actually. I planned to sand then oil the cab. I was sandin one side of the cab when I noticed that a basset puppy had chewed the ear where the chassis goes. I thought & thought... I then figgered I would burn it with my bbq & portable campfire then stain & oil it. Hence the name "HawtDog". I like this look better.
They make a great ol skool pair. Blondii has a Gretsch type wirin scheme (hi & lo tone ranges).

What's all that extra wire wound up inside the chassis?

Seriously, the extra wire isn't doing you any favors regarding hum and signal quality. Neatness counts (a lot) in tube amp layout.
