Researching ASAT Classic Semi-Hollow CLF1712114

Greetings I just purchased a what I was told was a new G&L ASAT Classic Semi-Hollow CLF 1712114 and I trying to validate the provenance of the guitar. It was sold to me as new but the serial number does not show up nor can I find any specific photos of the guitar on-line that indicate if it was a custom order or a factory build in 2017 to 2025? Any assistance would be wonderful as I hope I did not overpay for the guitar.

Check out this post in our G&L Knowledgebase: Serial number significance. You will find that this US G&L guitar was built in December of 2017. For it to be sold to you as new (from a G&L dealer) it would have been New Old Stock. You would get the full G&L 20 year Warranty. As was mentioned by Tooslowhand you can contact Memo Romero (G&L's Service Manager) to get details including the completion date. You should also have received the Factory Build Specifications sheet along with the Certificate of Authenticity in a large G&L envelope which was usually located in the G&L case. That sheet will have the details of your guitar including the build completion date. Please post some photos of ASAT Classic Semi-Hollow, as we always like seeing a member's new purchase.
