Hi, any info on this amazing ASAT I just picked up?

The place to discuss, post photos, video, and audio of the G&L products (US instruments, stomp boxes, etc.) produced after 1991, including the amps & gear we use with them.

I just picked this ASAT Deluxe up on ebay - mahogany body & neck, two Seth Lovers w/coil split, plays and sounds fantastic. The serial number is CLF10392. I've never seen an ASAT Deluxe exactly like it...any guesses as to the backstory?

I haven't taken any pictures yet but here's the ebay listing:

It is a beauty. I would guess it is a 1999/2000. I recently looked at a Legacy Mahogany with a very close serial number in a store being sold as new. They had in stock for years and it was beautiful. It sold very recently. Yours has a beautiful maple cap and the body binding really sets it off. G&L has had some nice Mahogany guitars over the years. -- Darwin

Welcome krosser,
That's a beautiful guitar, I haven't seen many with a mahogany neck besides the GbL LE guitars.
Love that binding on the mahogany body, very classy !
cheers

That is the epitome of elegance in an electric guitar. The Seth Lover humbuckers are fantastic, they'll make it sound as elegant as it looks.

Just beautiful - I want to touch it!

Mahogany neck, very unique in that sense. Nice axe.

That is a real beauty. Congrats.
I was following that one with the intention of bidding when I decided to
get the swamp ash deluxe I got.
Should be a terrific guitar with an impressive list of features you don't see every day.
I'm trying to figure out how to get another one with specs more like yours
to compliment the one I have.
