Seller claims S/S frets original factory install. Was this an option at one time that has been discontinued?

sirmyghin should be especially interested in this if it is true.

That I am, but if they were a factory install I don't buy it (as in do not think they are stainless). Last time Stainless came up Darth I think mentioned they were going to look into it, and how the wear would differ from standard frets on the PLEK machine. About 4 months after that I tried to order em and was given a no.

Seller is misinformed if they are truly Stainless Steel frets. S/S frets have never been a G&L option (yet).

Hope this helps.
