Bass Player here. Long time Fender freak. Been watching G&L for years. Finally got a USA L-2500. Love it! Waiting to take delivery of a Tribute M-2500 and a USA M-2500.

Still love my Jazz's and Precisions.

Lets all admit it. Leo was the best.

I picked up a Tribute JB-2 a few years back, and let me say, it is one of the best bass guitars I've ever played. It is essentially the next generation of Fender's precision bass, the single coils sound great, the radius is a nice flat 12" for easy playing/bending, and it looks as great as it plays. I can't speak for anyone else, but mine came with a pretty great factory setup that I haven't felt the need up tweak at all.

If you have the opportunity - try one out. Bkack Friday might give you some great deals.
