I never use a tremolo, and I never learned to tap notes. I was just a plain old school rock and roll guy when I was in my twenties, still learning how to play guitar. So when the spandex/big-hair metal bands began to turn every solo into a tap-a-thon broken only by alternating tremolo dive bombs and rapid fire tremolo bending, I just felt that was all a fad and wasn't going to bother learning it.

Ah the arrogance of youth.

So when I see guitars like this Rampage, I immediately know what they were made for, tremolo and tapping.

I don't really listen to that sort of music these days, so I couldn't see myself buying a guitar that is primarily set up for that.

THAT BEING SAID...

This is a great looking guitar. It has that classic look. Someone is going to be very happy with it.

I concur, great looking gtr. Like Dan, I rarely use vibrato, and tap even more rarely.

I really enjoyed checking out this Jerry Cantrell interview with Rick B.

His writing process and creativity are amazing. So is his production knowledge.
