NGD: 84 Superhawk

Post by TexasJack »

Greetings fellow GnL-ers,

I've been on the hunt this summer for a Superstrat. About a week ago I came across this one on the GC used gear site.

It came in an original case along with the trem arm, owner's manual, warranty card, Kahler documentation and a couple of period ad slicks (Broadcaster and the Superstrats).

Appears to be all original, Schaller buckers, Kahler and locking nut.
One or two minor nicks, zero fret/fretboard wear - for a 40 year old guitar this poor thing has lived most of it's life in a dark closet.

Advertised as an '85 but date stamps show it's an '84 build.

Neck date: 7/19/84
Body date: 9/8/84
Must be one of the early ones.

New Ernie Balls are stretching out now. Looking forward to giving her some time in the spotlight!
