Sometimes you get lucky.

Had to pick up the Squeezer, what G&L/BBE nerd could resist the lawsuit pedal still in the original box?

What was the story behind the G&L pedals. I only know of two, this one and the Doublebarrel boost. Surely these were just rebranded BBEs, or did they start a separate venture?

Hey Jack. Great score!

BBE pedals have been around for quite some time, I have quite a few actually including the Buckshot, and a few in regular rotation on my board. Yer Main Squeeze is a hard to find one for sure. It’s their take on the Dan Armstrong Orange Squeezer. After lawsuits this has gone through many iterations and is a good basic compressor.

BBE did a great job creating good pedals at a reasonable price IMHO. I am not aware of any re-branding, just expanding the BBE offerings. The newer Green Screamer and Sonic Stomp are great options. Some really good YouTube demo examples out there.
