I found a 2018 Fullerton ASAT Classic BluesBoy Deluxe in stock transparent orange here in OZ last week for around $1000 USD.
I am not new to G&L but I have been without one of these great guitars for 20 years or so.
This is my third G&L after the first one had a slightly crooked neck so I sold it, the second one was stolen and not this one just this week,
I had long since given up hope in ever finding one again after my previous ASAT Classic Semihollow was stolen along with the rest of my gear several years ago. These are uncommon here in OZ and with the weak Aussie dollar American guitars are out of reach for most. G&L ASAT sat in my eBay search feed for several years and then one day there it was! It is in near mint condition and it came with the GL Hardcase. I am very happy!
UPGRADES by previous owner:
G&L locking tuners Right Hand were shipped from Andertons Music UK
Porter Pickups USA Chrome Smooth neck humbucker and Hybrid Plus Tele neck - ordered from USA after Brian Porter consultation - installed by Sydney luthier Steve Cocking who also did the rewiring and setup. The tone circuit was rewired to more conventional Telecaster routing with the tone control now after the pickups, and the stock plastic capacitor was replaced with an Orange ceramic. The upgrades were not inexpensive so I got a really good deal. I purchased this from a jazz player in Sydney, who liked his action very low; 3/64" at the 12th fret for both high and low E strings. Steve Cocking very generously went through the setup with me by phone and advised me on the adjustments I should make, and I raised all the saddles by approximately 1mm.
I cannot put it down!

Welcome Mr. Jones!
Sounds like you did indeed do well, with the upgrades, etc.
Clear orange has always caught my eye but I've never owned one.
Posting pictures here is a bit of a pain but there are 'how tos' posted here and there.
Would love to see the new ASAT once you figure it out!
