Cases for ASAT?

Post by Diamond Dave »

I have a 2018 Tribute ASAT Classic Bluesboy and need a case. G&L website says sold out; G&G has nothing online.

I’ve found these options from Sweetwater that they say will work, and one from Rondo music:

https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail ... gular-case

https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail ... ric-guitar

https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail ... ric-guitar

https://www.rondomusic.com/product8197.html

Anyone have any experience with a Tribute ASAT in any of these cases? I’d rather not do a gig bag.

Thanks.

I use a 1SKB-66 case for my Tribute ASAT JR-II. It fits perfectly, but there is no length to spare. I don't know if your ASAT is the same length, or how the 1SKB-66 case compares to the ones you listed. I believe the SKB website has filters so you can enter the size of your guitar to see what fits. I have used Gator and SKB cases for many of my Asian built Epiphone guitars, and I tend to prefer the SKB cases only because they are less deep/bulky. Both companies make excellent cases. No idea about the the other one you listed. I usually searched Ebay or Reverb as there will occasionally be a seller with a bunch of SKB cases and they get sold at a good discount. Never had a problem.

Thanks. I ended up getting a Gator case from the local mom and pop store at lunchtime. Fits fine. Model GW-ELECTRIC if anyone is interested.
