Very sad day for me and the guitar world, we lost the King of Twang Duane Eddy to cancer.
As my interest in guitar started, my dad said if you want to hear a guitar player this is the guy you need to hear. So Rebel Rouser, Dance with the guitar man, Peter Gunn, Boss Guitar and Ghost Riders in the Sky were an inspiration. Never got a Gretsch bug but man you knew it was Duane Eddy when you heard the first notes.
