1983 SC•2 My Gold Standard, Born on Tuesday, April 19th...

Post by Craig »

From a post by Dave McLaren on CLF Research's facebook page (1/5/2024):
1983 SC•2 My Gold Standard, Born on Tuesday, April 19th, this guitar managed to stay in amazing condition except for its black finish.
I bought it in 2018 with a turquoise paint roller finish. Paint roller! So I refinished it in Pharaoh Gold Firemist, my supa fly color from Cadillac
in 1973-1974. My son John used Leo’s magnifying glasses to read the serial number.

Wow, that superfly gold really pops, great job!!

Love the SCs. I have an 87 SC-3 that sustains for days. What a gem that model was.
