Hello from Switzerland !

Post by KevinC »

Hi !

Kevin here, from Geneva Switzerland :greet:
I am a trained Guitar Tech and I came across a rather unusual G&L guitar and cant seem to find any information anywhere !
Hoping the very knowledgeable guys here would be able to help me :)

Here is a preview, I'll post more in the G&L Instruments (1980-1991) section.

Cheers :D

Craig would know best, but the bending and lack of a pickguard suggest a custom order.
G & L: '08 Comanche (Tribute) | '14 ASAT Classic | '00 ASAT Spec | '21 JB2 (Tribute)
Other: '87 Strat | '05 Heritage CH-157 | '12 Tele Select Koa | '19 MJT Esquire | '18 Taylor | 2015 Chrome Epi Dobro |

Yeah, would love to get Craig's opinion on this one, it's so peculiar.

Well it's a bit special, I came by this guitar working in a vinyl record store ^^ It was sold with a huge vinyl collection by the widow of a guitarist and rock music enthusiast.
As a guitar tech I saw that it was something special and decided to keep it to investigate and restore it :)

It's not really the kind of guitar I would use for my personal taste, I'm more of metal, prog kinda guy. But I do love some grunge and stoner rock so could use it ^And I do love the telecaster sound ! It can be very interesting in some situations :)
