Skyhawk HH Body Rout Question

Post by vacant »

Does anyone know if the Skyhawk HH has a swimming pool rout or is routed for the two humbuckers? I have a SSS version and the body is routed for the pickups.

Here's your answer (from a CLF Research facebook post on 10/22/2021):
Without the pickguard and control plate, it’s clear this Skyhawk HH is like a Superhawk or Rampage. Old School Tobacco Sunburst on swamp ash sure looks nice on it too.

I believe that all the Skyhawk HH models (BTO, FD, CLF Research, and CS) will be routed this way.

Hope this helps.

Very helpful. I have a set of Legacy Special pickups that I wanted to throw into a Skyhawk, but they are don't fit into the body routs of the SSS version. Oh well.
