Here’s a Custom Shop CLF Research Matador in Natural over Swamp Ash, light tint Quarter sawn neck, maple fretboard,
1-ply black pickguard and dual LB•100 pickups.

Note: I am not sure why it is listed as Custom Shop CLF Research Matador, since G&L never produced a CLF Research Matador! :roll:
Update 11/3/22: I asked Steve and he said because it has a CLF Research rounded headstock.

Again... Beautiful, what else would come out of G&L, no less the Custom Shop???

You can't get more to the roots than Natural over Swamp Ash, and the basses always come out stunning when built that way.
With a Maple neck & 'board, mission accomplished. (I would have omitted dots, but that's me! :happy0007: )

BASS PLACE is cool people, and I'm glad that's going in their inventory. I only WISH I could relieve them of that one, as well a many others I'm sure, but some lucky & classy dude is going to get a hella build.
