I own 2 Tributes. 1 ASAT Classic guitar and 1 SB-2 bass.
These are bolt-on guitars and I was wondering If I could find a fretless neck for either of them?
I thought maybe it would be cheaper than buying those expensive custom fretless 6-strings that google seems to like to show me

Re: Fretless
G&L does not offer either of those Tribute models with fretless necks.crust of society wrote:I own 2 Tributes. 1 ASAT Classic guitar and 1 SB-2 bass.

You might consider looking for the Tribute Kiloton Fretless bass, see: Just Announced: Tribute Series Kiloton Fretless bass....
You might be able to find Tribute Series necks on eBay and then have a luthier convert the necks to fretless.

Check out Jon Catlet's Freenote guitars, https://freenotemusic.com/freenote-stor ... ass-necks/. They have custom freless and microtonal guitars on G&L Bodies.
