That is a gorgeous piece of ash there, well gorgeous 3 pieces by the look of it? Or off center 2 piece?

the clear-thru (not sure if that's the right term) colors on L1000's are great. i had a red one also with a maple neck that i stupidly traded. while an ebony neck L1000 is my favorite the maple neck adds a bit of punch and sparkle to the mix and personally i think they look great. i wonder if greg g., paul or anyone else has ever cataloged Leo-era custom colors. it seems that between the F-100's and L1000's it would make for quite a list. thanks for posting that. it's very sweet!
