What wood is a 1989 SC3 body made of?

It would help if you could post a photo of the bare wood in the neck pocket, the control plate cavity, or the trem spring cavity.

The majority of SC-3 bodies were soft Maple, but I have seen some with Swamp Ash and Poplar.

Thanks for the answer and link.According to the link it was maple.Leo Fender used maple until 1991.

Will need photos of the bare wood to make sure, as the reference post says "Most of the SC & SB basses sport maple bodies...".

Poplar and Swamp Ash were also used, search the G&L Registry and you will see some of each for the SC-3.
