Hello!
Loving this new simpler headstock showing up on the Espada and 40th anni S-500. Anyone know if this will start making its way to option order guitars or other models?

The "Model Logo Delete" no charge option has been available on the Option Order models for many years. It is also available as a no charge option on the Custom Shop models.nlove002 wrote:Hello!

All the various Doheny models alway come that way. Reference post: Current G&L Specifications and Options.
Also see these notes on the Painted Headstock option:
Hope this helps.Painted Headstock (choose body matching or Jet Black)
Not available in Blackburst, Blonde, Butterscotch Blonde, Lemon Drop, Vintage Natural.
Black headstock automatically comes with Silver-on-Black G&L logo and Model Logo Delete.
It is strongly recommended to choose either Silver-on- Black or Black-on-Silver G&L logo and Model Logo Delete on other Painted Headstock colors.

Craig, I think nlove002 may be referring to the shape of the headstock (early paddle style) without the hook. Any insight as to whether we will see more of the original style headstock?

If any more paddle style headstocks come out they would likely come from CLF Research and Custom Shop.Challenger wrote:Craig, I think nlove002 may be referring to the shape of the headstock (early paddle style) without the hook. Dave has hinted that a Rampage (24 fret neck) might happen and he continues posting photos and videos of the Cavalier on the CLF Research facebook page.
However, if they do traditional headstock shapes for those, they would not have a paddle headstock.
