Hi,
I always wanted to play the guitar and a few years ago I decided to get serious.
I've been getting a lot of guitars to learn about their characteristics.
I have a S-500 but the nut is very narrow for me. Also, I'd like to know more about that guitar, but I can't find any information.
Maybe I'll get lucky in here.
Cheers!

If you post the serial, there will be people who may be able to chime in on the precise spec. of your guitar - G&L has offered (& offers, I believe) several nut widths
I agree, playing/owning a lot of guitars can keep one inspired

Sure does! And I found that #'s of G&L's I own keep growing.
The most common nut width is 1-5/8" - but as Danley states, G&L offers multiple nut widths. For the most part, most of the guitar built would have fit under the current "option order" group. So specs would have been based on the specific PO.
Welcome and Cheers,
Dan
