Metal Knurled Replacement Knobs

I just received my incredible and beautiful custom Legacy Fullerton. I’ve been using it with the stock bell-style plastic knobs in black, but would like to replace them with black metal knurled knobs (I have the push-pull expander). Im looking at these from All-Parts. Will these work for the pots on my Legacy?

A U.S. made guitar will require knobs sized to fit U.S. potentiometers. Also, given that your guitar has plastic bell knobs, it likely has split shaft splined pots. Most metal knobs with a set screw are meant to use solid shaft pots. You can find a converter to put on the split shaft pots prior to knob installation. If you choose not to use the converter, make sure the set screw is aligned to the slot in the shaft otherwise you will collapse the split shaft when you tighten the screw. I would also check the G&L pn-line store to see if they have the knurled knobs that come standard on many of their guitars.

Personally, I like the CLF Research knobs that G&L sells. The chrome metal knobs usually do not have a mark for a reference point to see where the knob is set at. The CLF Research knobs have a subtle line for reference and they come with the adapter to go over a split shaft.

I really want a few sets of the CLF Research knobs, but have always choked on the ridiculous shipping rates (prices to ship one knob to my house):

I don't have a lot of complaints when it comes to G&L - but their online shipping leaves me alternately shaking and scratching my head.
