Hi guys.
For the last ten years I have been exclusively playing Gibson Les Pauls. Now I really want a single coil strat-like guitar. I've decided to go with G&L over Fender because of the custom options without the custom price.
But before I pick out parts, I want to make sure the guitar is to my liking. I am mostly concerned with the neck (string spacing and neck radius). I don't want to choose parts online without feeling it in person.
I live about 20 minutes from the G&L factory in Fullerton. Does anyone know if it's possible for a regular player like myself to visit the factory and tryout their guitars? Handle all the necks, look at all the different finishes, etc.
Can I visit the G&L factory?

Glad I don't live in the vicinity of your store Tim, I have to spend about 1 hr on city buses to get to mine and have trouble not walking out of their store with stuff... More options = more chance of leaving with something

This reminds me that I'm overdue for a pilgrimage to that hallowed ground on El Camino Real.
