introduction
From Cascade Iowa...have a custom ordered 2000 S-500 with hardtail bridge, #4 neck, left-handed in 3 color sunburst. I should add that my interest in this site is related to a recent purchase: A '91 ASAT lefty 2-piece swamp ash body that is factory routed for the DF trem and Special pickups. Found it on Ebay for $80 (offer accepted). Strange thing is it has never been assembled. There are no screw holes anywhere.

Re: introduction
A lot of strange things happened in 1991 surrounding the death of Leo Fender and the subsequent sale of the company. Including the infamous "Garage Sale" and who knows what else. Could have been sold then or departed out the back door by an employee. Not that that ever happens...
Are there any markings in the neck pocket or pickup route?
