Unable to open my guitar case

Post by mpietro »

Guys, i really need some help.
I just get my new guitar, 20 minutes ago and so far was impossible to see her.
i'm unable to open the case. The hardcase model is this one: http://www.glguitars.com/shopping/shopexd.asp?id=67

It comes with a key, and two locks. I insert the key, turn it, i can hear a click but don't release the lock.
Strange is that the two locks are locked.
The key seems to fit perfectly, so i think is the one. It has a copy key, but no one are able to unlock the case locks;
There are some trick? am i doing wrong? I thought it was just a question to insert the key, turn an open it.

regards,

Tried turning the opposite way around? Maybe it was open, then you locked it thinking you were opening it, and so on.

Basic question here.
You do know to push the little round latches outward towards the end of the case when you have the key turned the proper way right?

Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

I was going to mention the latches pushing outwards, glad someone else did. It confuses sooooo many people.

The Transparent Blonde is one of my favorite finishes, and my TB Legacy is one of the best guitars of my herd. Using it for the gig rotation for a while. I added gold screws, jackplate and locking Sperzels to give it more of a "Mary Kay" look.

Enjoy!

Hello Guys, happy new year and all the best for you all.

How this post is about the guitar, I thought would be better keep it in the original thread.

I'm sending this video to you take a look, more in guitar less in me. :) I'm still learning, i play guitar for about a year and a half, too long road ahead.
Anyway, this is a video that i think it's nearly watchable. :)

About the guitar, amazing, just love her, i take care of her like a baby. (thanks god my wife don't know this forum).

See you..

Marcio(Brazil).

For having just played a year and a half you are doing great. You demonstrated an accurate bend and have a decent vibrato, and your timing is excellent. Keep having fun with your guitar.

Great stuff Marcio. I'll add nice phrasing to what Kit said.

Must be time for a new amp soon.....

That's Funny. If You Ever Lose The Key Just Bend A Paperclip To Open The Locks. They Are As Simple As A File Cabinet. Enjoy Your New Guitar. Lol!!!

Thank you guys for the support and encouragement. It means a lot for me.

You are right Jamie, new amp is necessary.
I was just waiting to get more, how can i say...more confidence with the guitar to deserve a new amp.

About the kid, is my older daughter, my little princess. :) She say the following in the Video: "I'm Giulia and I record all Videos of him, he is my dad"
