Hello from Arizona

Post by Scotty G »

Greetings, fellow G&Lers,

I'm Scott, and got my first G&L about three weeks ago; pics attached.

Just ordered another ASAT from the custom shop, a S-500 (edited to correct) in honeyburst, and a Doheny in translucent orange. Great guitars for the money!

Glad to be here!

Welcome to the list. Those are great pictures. Regarding the guitars that you just ordered, do you mean S-500, or is there a G&L guitar that I've never heard of (G-500)?

Clean ASAT - with the rest of them you should have a good lineup :D

Typo, S-500! Thanks for the correction.

Danley,

My new G&Ls will be keeping these company:

Gretsch White Falcon double cutaway, Gretsch Electromatic/Bigsby - Blue, Gretsch Tim Armstrong
1976 Gibson Explorer Reissue
2006 Gibson LP Custom, fireburst
Rickenbacker 330-6 Fireglow
2 Fender Teles; natural and a blonde (see what I did there?)
Fender 1987 MIJ Strat, Ed O'Brien Sustainer Strat, The Edge Strat
Epiphone LP Black Beauty, Tuxedo White Pro, ES-335 DOT Pro, Blues Archtop Deluxe, LP Classic
Breedlove amplified acoustic
Takamine Santa Fe
Fender P-bass
Three kit-built guitars

They all go through a large pedal collection into a Vox AC30TB and a Fender Tweed Deluxe reissue.

Scotty, Impressive collection! My first G&L, Tribute ASAT Special Deluxe, was followed by several more. I've been tempted to order a Doheny in Fullerton Red, Tangerine Metallic, or Pharaoh Gold Firemist. Welcome and join in often!
Cheers, Dan
