First post here, though I've been lurking for ages. I do some funk, soul and blues session work, though it's not my main source of income.
After playing a ton of G&L USA Legacys over the last year, I absolutely fell in love with the build quality on these guitars. G&L really puts care and precision into their builds. Every one I've played has been one step below Fender Custom Shop, on par with the AVRIs, I think.
So when I saw this stunner at my local used/vintage shop a few months, I had to have it! I don't know that there is a better quality guitar for such a reasonable used price.
Now I'm officially a G&L addict. I've ordered a custom shop Legacy that should be here in October.

Yeah, there were a few at my local used/vintage shop that all played great, but the fullerton red with maple board and cream knobs/guard just looked amazing.Matdeflo wrote:I looove Fullerton Red / maple neck combination !!!

Very nice, Fullerton red is the best!
Looking forward to seeing a comparison when your custom shop one gets in.
