Neck heel thicknes question

Neck heel thicknes question

Hi,
How thick is the neck heel on a G&L guitar compared to a Fender strat/tele?

Thanx. Im not looking for a replacement. Just info wether there's more mass at the end of the neck compared to a Strat. GnL's neck sits higher on the neck pocket so I was wondering wether the heel is slimmer to allow better access.

I emailed a contact at G&L and here is his reply:
Hi Craig,

Finished dimension thickness on a fender is usually right about 1” while ours is a bit thicker at about 1.025”
