Robert Poss and his modded SCs were inspirational to us ...

Post by Craig »

From G&L' s facebook page:
Stoked that Robert Poss let me borrow two of his legendary modded SC-1s. He also included a fresh copy of Band Of Susans “Wired For Sound” LP.
That’s great because I wore out my copy years ago. I’ll show you the guitars next.

Robert Poss and his modded SCs were inspirational to us when we developed the Fallout. Just look at his SC-1 here. It’s so damn cool.
His pickguard transformed the look and this guitar’s 35 years of life experience has faded its vibrant G&L Viking Blue to a muted greenish hue.
It’s so killer I can hardly stand it.

This is the other SC-1 that Robert Poss was kind enough to let me borrow. Robert modded this one with a second Jumbo MFD pickup,
and a mini-toggle was added for parallel/single/series coil control. Total Leo style move, and it’s absolutely rad.

Sweet guitars for sure.
You gotta love naturally "reliced" guitars.

I assume that is not his current phone number.
