G&L Custom Shop Doheny Semi-Hollow in progress ...

Post by Craig »

This Doheny is undercoated and getting ready for color. This special piece will have a humbucker in the bridge position.
This is one of many examples to come that showcase what the G&L Custom Shop is able to do for our customers. Once finished,
this instrument will be delivered to UpFront Guitars in Bellingham, Massachusetts. Stay tuned for more.

Looks cool. From a looks standpoint they could have concealed the humbucker under the Jazzmaster cover; they even make Jazzmaster covers with holes for 'bucker pole pieces.

that's awesome. any idea what kind of humbucker? curious to see if they are using one of the mfd prototypes that they've been posting on Instagram.

Doesn't look like the new jazz MFD as it does not have the routing for the jazz cover. I'm guessing a SD JB or G&L equivalent.
