Is it possible to swap out the humbucker in the neck for a single coil? And will a standard 8 hole pickgaurd with single coil in the neck fit?

Probably need a bit more info like what guitar etc. I would think swapping the pickups would be a workable mod, the pick guard is another matter. I'm sure you can get one made though.

I have 2015 G&L ASAT Classic Bluesboy Tribute Series. I’m thinking about swapping out both pickups and replace them with a Custom Shop Broadcaster in the bridge, and Custom Shop "Twisted" Tele Single-Coil in the neck. I was wondering if the cavities would accept the pickups. Hope this helps. Thanks again.
