Leo's press still in use at the Factory ...

Posted today on G&L's Facebook page:
Pressing in pole pieces looks just like it did in the early days of G&L, CLF Research or Fender. Leo designed tooling to hold the bobbin fibers in place while the poles were inserted.
Leo's press is probably 50 to 60 years old and still used every day in the factory.

Thanks for posting. Red Wing still uses 100+ year old Puritan sewing machines for their boot seams. Sometimes people get it exactly right the first time.
