With the lighting, it's hard to tell. The purple look might just be caused by the background. It might just be redburst, see http://www.glguitars.com/instruments/us ... dburst.asp

I reckon John Baizley's guitar is Royal Purple with bound top. Appropriate for the Purple tour, wouldn't you say?
