CLF-100 pickup/Duncan pickup polarity?

The place to discuss, post photos, video, and audio of the G&L products (US instruments, stomp boxes, etc.) produced after 1991, including the amps & gear we use with them.

CLF-100 pickup/Duncan pickup polarity?

Post by Toejam »

I've got a 2014 Legacy, took out the stock bridge CLF-100 pup and put in a Duncan Lil' Screamin' Demon bridge. Now I'm thinking of taking out the middle CLF-100 (RW/RP) and replacing it with a Duncan Quarter Pound. I'll be keeping the original CLF-100 in the neck, but will I still need the Duncan QP to be RW/RP to have it hum-cancelling in position 4 when the middle and neck pups are on together? Not really sure if Duncan and G&L use the same RW/RP wiring for their pups. Thanks.
