Could someone from G&L please help with this?

The place to discuss, post photos, video, and audio of the G&L products (US instruments, stomp boxes, etc.) produced after 1991, including the amps & gear we use with them.

Could someone from G&L please help with this?

Post by bbrianTD »

Hello,

New to the forum. I have a 2011 USA Legacy s/n: CLF-062191 (also registered) that I was told (and subsequently trying to sell as) a custom built guitar with a nitro finish. The problem is the build sheet doesn't say "Nitrocellulose" on it. Under "BODY" it says N/A - Neck finish is "Gloss Vintage tint" that all it says. One of the characteristics of this guitar is that it smells "sweet"

I'm simply trying to confirm the finish is/is not nitrocellulose - perhaps it's a "Thin" build, IDK??

I will also call but in the event I don't get very far, I'm posting this here as well.

Assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers!
