Our ‘78 Stingray is getting CLF mods. First thing is to solder independent leads for each coil, so we now have four leads coming from the pickup which originally had two leads. You know what that means: mini-toggles! The original control plate assembly on this bass has beautiful patina so we’ll keep that original. Instead, we will use a NOS control plate assembly from Leo’s lab, epoxy coated preamp and all.
