Somehow I got on to the story about my first Tele, the prototype ‘52 reissue that was supposed to go to Chrissie Hynde of The Pretenders. Long story. Anyway, I busted it out and Dan Donnelly threw down some killer Pretenders licks. Damn near 40 years late for that, but that’s what the guitar was supposed to do.
