1995 John Jorgenson Signature ASAT - Pickguards

Thanks to Dean "G&L" Coy for sending me these close-ups of '95 John Jorgenson Signature ASAT pickguards. The first shot shows the version of the guard that was used on the early Jorgensons; this guard is entirely made of a clear drum shell material, allowing the paint on the body to show through. The subcontractor who made the guards (Chandler) found that it was taking too long to polish these guards, hence in order to keep up with the antipicated onslaught of orders (that never came), Chandler switched over to the second-style two-ply pickguard, shown in the second picture. The top half of this later guard is clear, and the bottom half is white with silver glitter scattered on top of it. i.e., with this version of the guard the finish on the body does _not_ show through the guard.
