Anonymous 1982 L-2000E

This bass' previous owner had this to say about it: "It was dated January 1982, sunburst over a 2-piece mahogany body, rosewood board on the old style (skunk stripe) neck. The unique feature here was the hardware which was finished with flat black lacquer. The flat black finish was used for a short time between the earlier chrome plated hardware (1980 - 81) and the later black crinkle finished hardware (mid-1982). Unfortunately, at 10.3 lbs, this bass was not one that I gigged with. Sounded great, though."
