Jim DePitts' 1980 L-1000s

Thanks to Jim DePitts for sending in this photo of a pair of lovely L-1000s. Jim says, "These L-1000's are very early production in 1980. The sunburst example dates from late July, about 2 weeks after the first L-1000 was completed. This bass was found in Los Angeles and was bought a couple of weeks before an earthquake hit the area and put the shop out of business."
