Brad W. Traweek's 1999 GbL_LE #1/25
Date: 03/10/09
My pride and joy, GbL_LE serial number 1 of 25, sized here for use as your default Windows wallpaper. ;-) G&L surprised the heck out of me by presenting me with this guitar at the project's close. It's not only visually stunning, but it is quite literally one of best-playing and best-sounding guitars I have ever owned. Don't worry, this guitar isn't going to end up in a display cabinet - it's just too good of an instrument for that. Rather, it is (and will continue to be) a "daily player" for me. Again, my most sincere thanks to Dave McLaren and Doug Abrams for not only this guitar, but for their efforts on the GbL_LE project as a whole. The photo is ? 1999 Brad Hansel
Brad Traweek signing the History Documents
Date: 03/10/09
The date: Wednesday, March 24th, 1999. The time: approx. 8:15 p.m. The place: Brad's parents' house. The event: Brad prepares to sign the 25 copies of the guitarsbyleo.com Limited Edition Site History Document. Before starting, the perfect opportunity for one dramatic, posed shot. ;-)
The Site History document was written by Brad in order to give new LE owners a bit of background and "context" regarding the site, and the instrument itself. The document itself appears in the GbL_LE section of the Pictures Gallery.

This image shows me getting started with the task at hand what with the introductory pose out of the way. Be sure to notice my ham-fisted use of Dad's fountain pen in this second shot. ;-)
LE History Page 1
Date: 03/10/09
The Site History document was printed on fancy G&L-letterhead parchment paper and accompanied the guitars as they were shipped out from Indoor Storm. The document was written by Brad Traweek in order to give new LE owners a bit of background and "context" regarding the site, and the instrument itself.

1999 GbL_LE Custom Creations Certificate
Date: 03/10/09
This Custom Creations Department Certificate of Authenticity also accompanied the GbL_LE; this particular certificate is the one that accompanied my guitar (GbL_LE #1). The document again gives a brief history of the instrument, and also lists the complete instrument specifications. Note that the certificate is hand-signed by G&L Plant Manager John McLaren.
