Tim Page's 2000 20th Anniversary ASAT 1 of 50

Tim says "I already have several ASAT's in my own collection, including a G&L Broadcaster which is an amazing guitar ~ but when I plugged in the 20th Anniversary ASAT, I knew I had to have one! It has that traditional thick tone you expect from MFD's with all the detail in every note, but the 20th Anniversary ASAT has the sweetest sounds you'll ever hear. Johnny McLaren, Jr. advised that they had made "custom wound" MFD pickups for this model adding 180-200 extra windings. When combined with the solid Ash body and Birdseye Maple neck ~ the combination is impressive. Only 50 of them were made, I'm told 15 were shipped outside the USA ~ that leaves only 35 for the U.S.A. (less than one per state). Whether you are a serious G&L collector, a serious player, or a person in search of a fabulous sounding guitar ~ a 20th Anniversary ASAT must be on the top of that list."
