Tech Tip - Pickup Height

Post by kingswood127 »

I know, I know...not another question about pickup height. But, in the How-To guide located on this site, it says that the treble side should measure 1/16" and the bass side 1/8"; fretted at the 22nd fret. I did this on my Comanche, but wonder if that's too close? Maybe it's OK, I'm a novice when it comes to this...any ideas/comment?

Thanks...

Did you see this post: What should the pickup height setting be?

It really is a personal preference setting and can easily be changed. I suggest you experiment with different settings until you find the right one for you.

There are other tips in the G&L Tech Tips sub-forum which might be of use as well, check them out, too.

Hope this helps.
