How can I find out, is it real and country of production? - the seller claims its USA made.
Do they shield guitars on factory (almost rhetorical question) or is it someone was too bored and too smart?

Hi Craig, unfortunately I can’t find that guitar. The six digits of sharpie didn’t turn into a sales order number so I was flying blind. Serial number of course comes up blank any which way I try to find it. Anyway, It could be sales wanted so see something with the serial on the body to spare the neck swap serial number headache.
I have no idea, as fact was lost with whoever first collected money for it, and doubt it was me if you get my drift.

The guy who sold me a guitar called this color Tangerine MetallicCraig wrote:I'm also thinking that the original factory pickguard may have been a 3-ply black guard.
And he told pickguard was white and glossy - he changed it. But if it was white, does that mean that pickup covers and knobs should be white as well?
Do a string retainer should be plastic? On some photos it's metallic.Dave McLaren wrote:Serial number of course comes up blank any which way I try to find it.
So, it's mean there is no way of getting a Certificate of Authenticity?Craig wrote:Can you tell us about how you acquired this guitar?
I bought it in Russia (is's where I live) from a guy from the internet. Three years ago his friend bought guitar in the USA and sold it to him.
The guitar is pretty used and far from perfect condition as the seller claimed. If it's not fake - I just restore it and start having fun. Otherwise, I should try to return it.

Dave would be able to trace it from that number. Just a thought.

Correct. Ivory finish, rosewood fingerboard (RW), painted headstock (PH), creme pickguard, creme knobs. Clearly a reworked body and a different neck as indicated, as the latter is missing the painted headstock.
