S500 Radius
Would all the standard S500 US made after 1997 have a 12" radius?

If you specify 'standard' as 'what would you get by default without specifying anything', you are correct. I believe the default neck is a #1 neck. All other flavors of the #1 neck, as well as all #3, and #4 necks have 12" radii. In short, the 12" radius is nowadays the most common. Doesn't mean there aren't plenty S-500 with a #2 necks around.

Thank you Jos. I'm looking at a used S500 and judging by the SN it appears to have been made btw 1997 and 1999 so I'm hoping that it is indeed a 12" but I guess I will only be able to tell for sure once it's in my hands...yowhatsshakin wrote:If you specify 'standard' as 'what would you get by default without specifying anything', you are correct.
