It doesn't get much more basic & essential than that spec, and it also doesn't get much better than a time-tested L2K.
G&L is very popular in Japan-The bass specialty shops I visited in Shibuya and Ochanomizu were well-stocked with G&L basses.
Someone there is going to be very happy, maybe for Xmas!
