Dating a G&L Commanche

How do I tell what year a commanche was made ?

Hi Craig it turns out to be 1989 Commanche VI color is Sunburst . There is a plastic plate on back side of body where it screws onto neck . This is where all info is . How do I go about sending pictures to registry and gallery ?

The neck plate is not plastic, it is a metal alloy which has been powder-coated.
Are you sure it's a 1989? The Comanche VI did not go into production until 1990. See: Production List of G&L Instruments (USA).
