I have a G&L Legacy Tribute Series, which is a very fine guitar except for when I use the tremolo bar ,it gets stuck from time to time. i'm then left with an out of tune guitar. I took it to a luthier who acknowledged the problem, made some adjustments but wasn't sure that he'd solved the problem and couldn't figure out why it was sticking. This luthier also happens to be a Gold level certified Fender guitar Technician . He didn't charge me .
Is this a problem with this guitar? Should I maybe look into a bridge replacement?

Re: Tremolo Sticks
sounds like the strings are sticking in the nut to me ....... I have had the side of a DF rub the cavity to where it would stick , it was easy to reposition , the DF should be adjusted level to the body with claw spring tension..... I'm still leaning towards a nut , the Tribute series uses a plastic nut , I would have your guy install a bone nut ......
