Tonights Fortune Cookie

Post by sam »

After an evening of tasty Chinese dinner tonight with my family we all started to see what our future held via good 'ol fortune cookie. I was the last to open mine and I knew the future was dire as it was empty. After laughs all around there was an extra fortune cookie so it was opened and the fortune read

"Be prepared to receive something special with no strings attached"

My wife was quick to say "Guess that means no new guitar, it has strings."

Luckily my son quickly said, "Must be an amp, it doesn't have strings." :happy0065: Gotta love a son with a quick wit and the mind of a musician.

Here's to everyone's fortune being good.

Congrats in advance. If the fortune comes true, which amp will it be???

The best fortunes I've found were "you are the master of every situation" and "you are pretty". I doubt that one will ever come true!

My favorite fortunes were
"Respect age -- drink good Scotch for a change."

"You will attend a party where strange customs prevail"

Thanks guys, love yer fortunes.

Ken, if I could pull off an amp, I've been looking at some lately; Mesa Boogie Studio .22, DC-2, or maybe either a Fender Pro Jr. or Blues Jr. If the fortune has no limit I would go Mesa Boogie Mark V!
