Model Number - Where to find?

Post by asantange »

Hi all,

Just picked up a brand new G&L ASAT special, in butterscotch blonde. I must say this forum has really helped out with my decision to pick up a G&L.

This is the first legitimate guitar I have owned and I've never been more content with a guitar.

It's so recent that I've yet to fill out my warranty and send it in.

Just wondering where can I find the model number for this guitar?

The Model Name is located on the front of the headstock. In the case of the ASAT Special, only
the name "ASAT" is there. The serial number for the guitar will be located on the back of the
headstock. Over the years, the location and format of the serial number has changed. See: Serial number significance for details.

Please post a photo or two of your new ASAT Special in the G&L Porn!!! sub-forum and then register it in our G&L Registry.

Hope this helps.
