Re: Smartphone Apps Are Watching You
That was a good read Jamie. Intelligent phones and computers/internet have changed out way of life and privacy is becoming more non existent. I happened to do a google on my name this week, which I do about once a year due to my Runestone activities, and was able to view my guitar registry that is on this site. I have to assume that there are not many secrets anymore. I don't think that I have much to hide but maybe I need to think about that for a while!! -- Darwin

Re: Smartphone Apps Are Watching You
I saw this from the beginning. As always, no listeners. I have built some of these "apps" and other distributed applications solutions. The opportunities to exploit the user are many. Just look at the people whom build web sites, eCommerce, etc. Some of these people are rough, to be polite. Most, if not all open-source applications are designed to support the developers with "customization" revenue. I personally believe that all developers should be bonded in some way... My $0.02.
